What is a Staycation?
At Manotick Place Retirement Community we are very aware of how the decision to move to a retirement residence can be a tough one even when you know it’s exactly what you need to do! This is why we created a program that allows for the opportunity to try the retirement lifestyle out before making a final commitment of selling your house.
Move in for 3 months. We will furnish your suite beautifully with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Need a coffee maker or kettle? We have one for you! Tea towels, flatware and dishes, your bedroom furniture and linens too! You need not move anything in, however you’re welcome to bring a favourite chair, photos or whatever else will help your stay feel most comfortable.

As a Seasonal Stay Resident you have access to all that Manotick PLace has to offer. Enjoy three meals each day in our Elgin Dining Room. Our Activities Calendar is yours to explore! Join in a fitness class or try your hand at painting! Be entertained by our live performances or join a social hour gathering before dinner. The choices are endless at Manotick Place. Be as social and active as you choose!
Explore the Manotick Village and all the area has to offer. Shops, restaurants, the Rideau River and all of the amazing festivals put on in this vibrant village. Three months gives you a wonderful chance to make friends, try out the things you think you might enjoy and get to know the neighbourhood if you’re not from nearby.
